Trails to Tails - New York City’s first free 5-borough
animal adoption map.
Trails to Tails is for New Yorkers who want to adopt
in their own neighborhood - making the search for a
companion animal literally right around the corner.
Trails to Tails introduces map users to their neighborhood
animal shelters and rescue organizations make adopting
and access to pet support resources more accessible
than ever.
Equally important, by connecting animal lovers to their
animal rescue community, Trails to Tails increases opportunities
for neighbors to support their local animal rescue community
by knowing where to volunteer, bring donations and support
the ongoing needs for those helping homeless animals.

The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals is a coalition
of 70 animal shelters and rescue organizations working

that has formed a public-private partnership with the
City of New York to develop creative solutions to deal
with issues of animal care and control in New York City.
